Reasonable recording. So far today they only one I’ve kept.
Not the best, but not a bad show.

Recording is tops. Band and Jerry were more cohesive than the next night. Hand Jive is a good indication that some energy was around. Overall a decent

show for 86. I gave it a 4 for recording, setlist and overall a decent 86 show. I wouldn't mine having this in my collection for nostalgic reasons I've erased worse.

Very full sounding recording though a little flat which seems to happen on some of these shows recorded with the Schoeps.
There is a lot of negativity ... about '86 around here, but there are some real gems. I wouldn't rank this in my top five of '86 but it's still a fun listen. I think if a lot of these spring '86 shows were played two or three years later everyone would give them five star reviews instead of the "being '86 and all...". Back to the show, nice, mellow west coast renditions for many of the tunes in the first set. Highlight for me was the unexpected and very well played Jack Straw closer, always a rarity in this slot. Especially nice because the Row Jimmy seemed to suck the life out of everyone after a cool Hand Jive. I wish they have played Hand Jive more often.
Nothing really stuck out for me in the second set, though CR&S is one of my personal favs. Bob forgets the words in Truckin and asks the crowd if they know'em. The rest of post drums is well played, but nothing way above average. And I always love the Quinn encore, a great send off.

Great recording except for the Wharf Rat being all messed up.
Disc 2 Track 8 (Wharf Rat)
@5:18 approx. there is a drop out in right channel as ... well as a skip in the music.
@ 5:55 approx. there is a click or snap in the right channel.
@ 7:34 approx. there is a drop out. (lasts for about a second)
@ 7:38 approx. there is another drop out.
Pretty much will ruin the Wharf Rat for just about anybody. Other than that it's great sounding!
